Lahore is very old city and it has so many old monuments/buildings. This happened to me a lot, when walking through the roads of Lahore, i find myself taken back in time. I visualize the royals moving through same old streets drinking tea from "Pak Tea House" and saving their mustache from tea. This still happens if you have one.I remember a video in which Queen Elizabeth II and the Duke of Edinburgh (Prince Philip) walking along beside one of the lakes, with the governor of West Pakistan and other dignitaries.
We Lahore is filled with so much beautiful and elegant places that needs exploring. I studied in one of grate University Lahore has, GC University. It has a history of over two hundred years, build by British. The main building or the vice chancellor office reminded me of some old intelligent minds that walked these floors. The emphi theater in GC was used by actors to play the scripts of Shakespeare. Sometimes you wonder how it's still standing. The majestic main clock, not working now, but in old times would have been source of time. If move a little on the mall road you will see Alfred C. Woolner statue standing. You can admire the guy because Dr. Woolner started as librarian at Punjab University and then finally he was vice chancellor of Punjab University. Many don't know but he is buried here too.

Then you can goto Shimla Pahari, here at Lahore Lawrence Garden or old Governor House, The spring brings out the best of it. If you visit it in spring time it will be filled with decorated flowers. Beautiful scenes can be found there. Some intellects can be found discussing matters while sitting in ground. The Jinnah Library was governor house and later it was converted to library.
Lahore had many visitors/tourists that come ti dig out out history as it is the cultural and trade hub. Walled city has many cannons that you may find still there and some are left by British Empire.
The oldest teaching institute The Lahore YMCA, has a proud tradition of service to Pakistan, since 1876 the YMCA has been famous as a venue for historical meetings, social events and imparting quality education. Many don't know its that old. If you look at the old photos of Lahore it will feel very open filled with beautiful people.

London 6732 Miles

The cultured sharing started here. MAO started teaching English and we started exchanging cultures. Many old books can be found at Punjab Public library that will tell you the story how we and British came understanding each-other and forming of common wealth. All in all Lahore has many British monuments that are here intact and standing. This reminds us the era of the great Britain Royal Empire. More tourist should come and vist these beautiful places and landmarks.

The Face Book Feeds New Look

Here comes the new Facebook look.The Facebook is trying hard to stop its user migration to Google+. Facebook thinks this will be remedy to all the bad publicity they got from the timeline, they are keeping time line but also integrating old design into new one. This is taking them really hard to do so cause time line is more complex architecture. The created new design will be more convenient ans the flow will be much more like Google+. Plus is far ahead from Facebook, they are able to manage everything keeping design really simple. I like you tube design as one of the best cause it's just so simple and communicative. Tells me everything and points me in right direction.
It's a fact Facebook has much larger community, not only this it has much larger active community. Google if want to capture Facebook community it should try to import games data from Facebook api so that all games records are in sync. I mean if I am over level 2500 in a game why should i go on Google+ to start all over again. people like to go on Google plus but it has much less active gamers.
Google+ has one more thing it has no adds :)

Now Facebook needs to find suitable place for adds and sponsored data. we don't mind adds it's just they should not just popup in feeds. The feed in new design are easy to scroll and the navigation is on the left. Some more complex menu for settings and privacy are back in same menu and the look good. Facebook is still keeping recommendations on right, and it's increasing random community of pages and groups. Facebook is hardly working on design and i hope old styles are integrated into it so that the users will stick here. I hope all the design blunders from time line will be removed and user get more control over contents.

Why I think Gaming is good for ME?

I started playing Arcade in young age. I don't know what made me to do it or what was the compelling idea behind playing games. But I enjoyed playing games a lot and still do. I don't consider it a bad things but others do.

I started playing games on Atari, the first console. With the single attack button you can do so much. Kill stuff shoot stuff. My friend had Nintendo, the Mario brothers. Played all day and never got bored of it. These two console were really awesome time killer. But then their era ended.
I was happy to bought my own Sega console. Played sonic the hedgehog, with my brother. But all these games were not simply time killers. I seen Mario going mindlessly to save a girl, to achieve his goal he hop madly just on a push of button. He never got tired and went on and on, no matter what type of hurdles you put in-front of the guy. Sonic is little more complex. When you collected enough rings you ran into some being and loose all your collection. Like the ups and downs of life, sonic ran and ran till he crosses check point. Discovery of these virtual worlds also led my imagination out. I became more focused and objective oriented due these time killers. Here many of you will disagree with me because your child probably sitting in-front of you playing some console and your telling him/her to get a life.
Then came something called Sinclare, a keyboard and computer type model. You have to load magnetic tape in it to play games. Games were entertaining as well as educational. But most of all it was my first programing experience. It thought me how put commands and specific lines what they mean to digital system. The loading from magnetic tape always fascinated me and it was magical how you can load set of instruction through magnetic tape. The screen with bars and lines during loading always put a smile on my innocent face (I was cute back then).
Sinclare was mu first encounter with computers. Growing was fun with so fascinating stuff. Thanks to the inventors of such console, devices and games. Then started era of computers. This was the time when doom PC(Personal Computers) and other first person shooter came. It was fun hitting and killing stuff. It was violent tough but you were not killing stuff in real. Many kids were now in home playing over PC. In virtual worlds we were killing machines. Killing all kinds of stuff, genetically modified killer zombies. But now our parent got concerned, they thought too much time was spent over playing games then doing something worth while. But i was learning, i learned to sneak in my brother's bed room and then doing stealth attack on him. I leaned getting on high ground gives you strategic advantage. And where to hit to make others suffer. The perfect aiming was achieved. It made my reflexes more strong and grate.
My PC was not gaming but it was enough 833 mghz p3 category. Then came games like Age of Empires. You literally can control stuff in a world. You have your subjects and you can make people kill them and destroy enemies, with real wars. Food, wood, gold and rocks were used to built your economy. Playing was fun because i was now able to play against real players, My friends. We played all day long to achieve best economy the killing each other, like similar the corporate world does to us. It made my decisions more focused and more it made me realize i never like to surrender. Loosing was not an option and this attitude was developed in me through games. There was to much strategic planing involved and you learn about histories of different civilizations. Like in commandos, you have to look different ways to get into enemy territory. So you plan, scout the area and gather Intel or resources.
Then came the games that you play online with a team against other teams. Counter strike you all may have heard of it. The counter strike made my English so good, i mainly started using English to format my thoughts or jolting down a plan. Communication became so important and this made my English more good. Co-op planning was at its height. I was able to kill all terrorists but yes with a good team. Save the day by disarming the bombs they planted. Putting all terrorist into ground. But sometimes the arrogant sound comes, terrorists win. Countries spent millions and months to tackle the terrorists and we did it in hours with no special training.
So i established well enough, giving hour of hours fun and entertaining time i spent on games, I learnt a lot. So your kids are doing the same don't stop them but guide them what to play with and what not to.

We; I am referring the tech generation, are true social creatures. The technology has made as us aware of our existence. This self awareness has lead us to connect and contact other beings, because we understand that we are not alone. Technology made it easy for us to stay in contact at times and maybe all the time. Now we "Socialize" from our home or even on the go. Smart phone, laptops and tablets, cleared our phobia or shyness.
One such tool that entertain us is youtube. YouTube made easy to share video, tricks, teaching, tutorial and even it became reason for revolution. Live YouTube is now there that is supplying unlimited entertainment world wide.
So after controversial videos on YouTube, many countries ban YouTube. YouTube is now not accessible here in Pakistan too. It's not impossible to access YouTube.

How much we will allow Facebook to share?

Facebook is widespread global community, with the idea of keeping services free.

" It's free and always will be"

But still there is a price to pay. You share you private information online and share it with not just your friend's but the people who are in your profile.
Now there is one lill set back, it's not only sharing your private data with the people you never but also with third party applications or websites. This is something that Facebook users are concerned of. Now here many of you may ask what to share with whom. My friend asked me: I have lots of friend's on Facebook but I don't want to share everything on my timeline to everyone. <br>
I answered him it's soo simple boy, you must know that Facebook is based on the view that you should not feel shy in sharing your personal information to people from different community or ethnicity. This is what you sign when you agrees to terms and conditions of Facebook. That means the adds and apps use our data for their purposes.
Now after understanding this that it's not fault of Facebook, you should know that you can keep data private.
First thing to do is to organize your friends and family in lists. Make lists as much as you like or want. There are some auto generated lists by Facebook. If you want much strong privacy then ignore all auto lists. Make your own and enter appropriate friends is list.
Second you should know how to change privacy modes in settings. Goto in top right corner bluebar you will see dropdown arrow button. Click it and you will see your pages and your advert and it has also settings for account and privacy.

Goto account settings, there see your password last change date. Change password time to time and take backups for your Facebook. Many don't know that you can do this on Facebook.

Now goto security settings there keep secure browsing on. Click on login approvals and on it so that each unrecognized location is logged. Add recognized device to your list.

Now you goto notifications and set there settings as required ( will be writing a blog on security. So this will be explained in detail there)
Now in subscriber settings you should change your settings to friends, if you are very private person. The options there are self explanatory. Set them as you like.

After restricting your subscribers you can now move on applications that are using your data. At applications you will see list of all your apps that you have used. Do click an application and you will see what options you have allowed and why the application needs it.

If you see post on your behalf, there you will see who can see your post set it to your liking. I recommend using custom settings and only add people who uses this app so others won't get disturbed by posts of applications.

Many applications are used once so remove such applications that you don't use anymore. You can set your notifications too in the settings.

To really get secure or staying private, You can use your privacy settings or edit your Timeline to control who sees the information/posts there.

 There you will fnd default settings, do click on custom and add lists you want your posts to be shared with and add lists in "Hide this from" to hide posts from. This will manage your posts by default.

To put apps in mode of privacy and to put your other stuff and post shared by your friends see below.

here you will see five or six menu. Click on how you connect and you will see that you can easily manage privacy of your posts. Limit the audience to your liking in last option so that all timeline is not visible.
Now the place comes where we are/ Facebook users are mostly concerned.
On Facebook, your name, profile picture, gender, networks, username and user id (account number) are always publicly available. Now you will see a list of settings go to apps you use and you will see that you have already configured it. Next edit how people option and select appropriate options only. Instant personalization will take you to Facebook video tutorial and it will help you understand alot good features.

Public search and also the settings for adverts can be found here and you can easily manage your data.

Now the big question what about tags and sharing of others on your wall. Goto Timeline and Tagging there you will find options to set how your wall will place activity. Posts you choose not to include on your timeline may still appear elsewhere on Facebook.Now you usecstom option and add list of people whom you like to share the post your tagged in.

So all in all Facebook still doing grate job to provide the privacy needed by user but it got more complex and time taking but once set you will have a great peace of mind.
